McCain at His Best
Taken
by Reuters at last night's debate was this picture of Senators McCain and
Obama. One may suppose that the picture captures the Arizona Senator
in the middle of one of his classic, broad and melodramatic guffaws
― or perhaps at the beginning of his "Angry Old Wrinkly
Man Who Finds Socialists
Distasteful" grimace ― or perhaps his recently discovered serpentine smirk.
Whatever the case may be, the question screams out: What was McCain
thinking at this moment? I.e., what is an appropriate caption for
this picture?
Well, like the shrink told me, I've got
ideas, but I need help.
Here are a couple of suggestions:
